Still Life Artist
Michael R. Mills (b. 1987 - Greenwich, CT) is a self-taught representational still life oil painter residing on Cape Cod. As an up-and-coming artist, he is best known for his beautifully composed still life paintings characterized by balanced compositions and refined brushwork which reflects his fascination for design and craftsmanship. He is drawn to high contrast images using light and shadows to create drama and interest. By capturing these seemingly ordinary moments, he seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.
