“Beer and Pistachios Still Life” is an original 14”x11” oil painting by Cape Cod artist Michael R. Mills, capturing a quiet, inviting moment of refreshment with classic clarity. This realistic still life painting features a frothy glass of craft beer beside a decorative blue-and-white bowl brimming with pistachios, set atop a rustic wooden ledge and white linen.

Rendered in warm tones with exceptional attention to texture — from the bubbles in the foam to the crisp pistachio shells — the composition reflects Mills’ signature approach to contemporary realism. The scene feels both timeless and relaxed, making it a perfect tribute to simple pleasures.

Ideal for collectors of beer-themed artwork, bar and kitchen decor, or lovers of culinary still life paintings, this piece brings warmth, craftsmanship, and a sense of hospitality to any space.
